opening day of the season, March 15th 2005, Shenandoah hosted Patrick Murphy from
Cartersville, Ga in the "Alabama Governor's "One Shot Turkey
Hunt" event. Patrick was guided by Russ Newman and took this
mature Gobbler on the first morning of the event. He scored 67
and finished second in the state-wide two day competition. Patrick
